Dear ,

I had sinus surgery in July 97 and have only had a couple sinus infections

since.. and they were very minor. I think my sinus surgery worked very well.

Wait! I had sinus surgery! A few months before my WLS. Turbinoplasty,

septoplasty, sinus repair. It wasn't the most fun I've had, but everything

worked again! Still working. In fact, 9 yrs Friday.

BUT it did change the shape of my nose. THAT was a surprise. The doc did

offer to fix it, and I shoudla let him, huh?

Pain in Hips and head

virtually every day for the last couple of months and the pain in my hips

and thighs.

form or fashion. I am guilty of that, lol! My pcp says I have an

inflammation called fasciitis in the hip/thigh area that can best be treated

with a course of anti-inflammatories. He prescribed piroxicam (aka feldin).

The headaches are sinus headaches. Not a lot you can do there except the

nasal sprays, etc. etc. I will not consider having sinus surgery because I

have never heard of anyone that it worked on.

swimming on me. A size Small would have been more appropriate, lol.

My late hubby had sinus surgery after years of disabling headaches. He

never had another problem. He said the surgery itself was nowhere near

as bad as a sinus headache! Amber/FL

I don't think any one could end up with a nose. Let's

hope it is a one-of-a-kind.
