Guest guest
Hi Dodie! Well... Just to prove nothing around here is predictable... The pup remains. Donnalee tried to call to return it today (for the 3rd day)... but... have a feeling that that " attachment " issue you mentioned has already happened. We all feel for this pup. He is going to need surgery of his eye for sure. And if that testicle doesn't drop, he'll have to have surgery for that too... (But, then he'll just be like me :-) I think he tried to make me like him yesterday. Not that my eyes weren't already bad enough... but he had to smack me in the eye - same one - twice! And you know their paws - even as pups - are like very coarse sandpaper! Do you know anything about that " testicle dropping " issue? Vet said it should have dropped by now, and can develop into a tumor if not removed by 2 y.o. - but breeder said otherwise. We are so ignorant we have no idea who to believe. Regarding checking with your MDs on flu shot, thanks. I have a feeling you'll hear back from yours before we hear from ours :-) Regarding foods... doesn't seem to matter at all what I eat. In fact, the last meal to stay halfway good - was a very spicey dish. Never predictable. Tonight, I'm back up with severe nausea (distracting myself here) and vomiting - but vomiting is not as bad as last night. No meds effective. Internist still thinks I need tubes - and am beginning to agree with her - but... I still have hesitancy - knowing that food is not processing through there right and wondering what good it's going to do cramming more food in if it isn't processing it right. Seems to me (and others have agreed with similar problems) that merely forcing more in is not a solution (which is likely why the doc at Mayo was going to put in 2 tubes - a J-tube and a PEG tube - to " vent " - vent what? vent the food that gets sent back up out of the intestines I venture to think...) Anyway, have a great one! I think I'll check a few more posts, then see if I can get back to sleep... Oh joy! Somehow... I seem to have gotten a bunch of tick or chiggar bites today! Always somethin' - huh? Oh yeah... guess who's in my bed now? The Dane pup. And you're right... he keeps me warm - nicely so. He will definitely serve that purpose - and I think it pleases us both :-) Stroke huh? Maybe that is why I'm cold all the time (but more likley MSA stuff - as there are actually times I'm quite toasty - though my feet are almost always cold - like now...) Neuro-ophthalmologist did think I'd had multiple " small events " - but who knows... They also think I might be having heart attacks now - which would fit in with the chest pains followed by excessive sleep for a day or two afterward. Who knows? Unfortunately, I get chest pains so often, that I seldom even put anything together :-) Of course, lately, I seem to have problems " putting things together " anyway :-) And it's not just my bull-headedness :-) Pablito > Pablito, sorry you had to give up the pup.
