hi--haven't posted in awhile. originally i was having a lefort for

vertical reduction, but since that would've involved shortening the

skin from nose to lip as well (which is unpredictable), i instead

opted for a genioplasty to reduce lip strain. so...i had this done

thursday morning, the tape was removed today, and now i can feel a

small hard spot under my chin, just on one side. is it likely that

this is just swelling/fluid? is it normal for some of the swelling

to feel harder than the rest? my concern is that it's a screw!!

however, i have no idea where the screws were placed. i had a slight

reduction and slight movement forward, so i don't know where they put

the plate and screws in this case. anyone else have a genioplasty to

reduce vertically and move forward?
