Guest guest
As some of you are aware... We were constructing a 2500 square foot house when I was " blessed " with the onset of multiple symptoms. This was a house (and 3,000 square foot barn) which I had designed myself. I had also pretty well built everything to that point by myself. I could make absolutely no sense as to why this hit me. I mean, we were tithing. We were faithful. We were even contemplating the full-time support of a missionary family. But, apparently God has other plans for us. Our house remains largely incomplete. However... Gradually... It is being constructed. But it's being done largely by others... not just me... Today was further evidence. A work crew arrived early this morning from the congregation we meet with in Joplin. In one day, more was done than I could have done in a week - maybe even 2 - and that would have been doing nothing else but working on the house. The point? Ego, has been replaced by humility. The house that " designed and built " - even though fully intending to dedicate to God's service... Is rapidly becoming " the house that God built. " Truly, there are many blessings - even in infirmities. :-) Catch ya'll later. Pablito

Guest guest
, Thank you for sharing yourself and the story of your & God' s house. God has blessed you with the vision to see His hand at work and His guidance daily. Even though this disease robs those who have it of so much, God is faithful and He truly does have a specific plan for each of us. Sending you prayers and God's blessings, Sandy B. Guest guest
what a wonderful comment. My of us expercienceing the effect of this illness are in your same boat, whether it be a house, or a birthday party,or just day to day needs, we all need Gods help to compete our tasks. I have found that Gods work comes in stange and interesting package. One of the hardest part for the patient and the care giver is the acceptance that we must allow others to help. I am proud of you that you were able to do so.
