Guest guest
-HI im not sure of your name. Just wanted to say that i totally agree with the others who have replied to your post. i too was unhappy with my appearance and lacked self confidence. I had upper and lower to correct a class III underbite when i was just 17. 2 years on i still have a little numbness on the right hand side of my chin, but this was actually from having my wisdom teeth removed 3 months before the jaw surgery itself. It doesnt bother my at all and i generally dont notice its there, when i run my finger over it the area just feels slightly smoother to touch, due to the numbeness. If you really are unhappy, and you have problems with your bite i would seriously consider the surgery. It has helped me and i guess everybody else who has been through it. My confidence has improved dramatically since surgery, im even at university now, which i wouldnt have even considered before hand due to my lack in confidence and self esteme. Try writing down the pros and the cons of this surgery and really take some time to think it through. Hope this helps, feel free to ask all the questions you need here.
