Guest guest
Hi every one My name is Kristi I have been lurking for about a month now reading your post's. I started this process about two months ago I have had all the preliminary appointments and have been cleared for the surgery from all the DR's. Now its the waiting game for insurance approval. My question is has any one or dose any one know what the hell an organic condition is? this is exactly how my exclusion/limitations is listed. Any loss, Expense or charge which results from weight control or treatment for obesity not caused by an organic condition. I have asked the Insurance provider and nurses no one seems to be able to give me a direct answer to this. So IM hoping someone out there can help. thank you Kristi

Guest guest
Hi Kristi.... I'm certainly no doctor, and dont pretend to even know enough about this to answer, but could an " organic condition " have anything to do with bodily organs? Organic weight gain versus weight gain by way of simply consuming too much? Just a thought from " Dr. Becky " .....lol! Guest guest
My question is has any > one or dose any one know what the hell an organic condition is? I am not sure either, but i think it is a condition of being overweight caused by other disease processes ( diabetes comes to mind, or maybe lung and heart problems that limit physical activities that therefore cause increased weight gains ). That is just a guess.
