I do quilting to keep me away from the food - I work part time at a local quilt

store, and today I went there to just hang out and work on one of the MANY

quilts I have in progress. And you know what - I got SO MUCH DONE without having

the fridge there to interrupt me - seriously ;-) Plus quilts make awesome gifts

or to donate to Project Linus or local Veterans groups ;-)

Re: Joan C

Good Morning...my doctor, I am pre-op, told me to make an afghan

instead of eating. My worst time is nights and tv...well let me

tell you! I made one largest enough to cover a twin size bed! It did

help to keep my hands busy and my mind off food....
