Surgery Friday-Prayers Welcome

Hi all --

Happy Valentine's Day to me tomorrow (Friday morning) as I'm going in for a

panniculectomy and lateral thigh scar release on both legs (childhood scars

-unrelated to WLS). Both considered reconstructive. Believe it or not, the

scar release was harder to get approved than the panni - go figure. Panni

was a slam dunk. Big inverted scars on both outter thighs with a death-grip

on leg muscles, pulling and tearing on a daily basis, and I had to appeal

this procedure. Insurance initially considered it " cosmetic. " Oh well, I

won.

So -- I've been doubling up on protein shakes in preparation and am here to

ask to be in your thoughts and prayers on Friday.

As always, thanks to everyone for what I've " gained " from this group over the

years. I'll be in touch.
