Guest guest
I totally agree. I started having attacks when I was a Junior in highschool and now 9 years later am still going strong. I feel that I have to force myself to work or well now go to college daily in order to focus on something other than pain. I have been told by several doctors however that I have a very high pain tolerance. I herniated 3 discs and still went to classes and went about my regular schedule until I had surgery for it 5 months later. But I do agree with you about being with others helps. When I was isolated after my surgery it was horrible, the depression swept over me, I felt as though I had lost all of my friends, that no one cared. When I was released and able to finally get out and do things again my life totally changed. Yes I do have attacks that are debilitating, where I am doubled over even when I'm standing up, and where I just cry for hours, but in the middle of those I have to focus on something else, force myself to go despite the pain. I pray for strength for all of you daily!!!!
