Guest guest
Jeane - I have only been married 4 1/2 years, but you asked for another approach. My husband TOLD me he was supportive, but I could see the obviouos apprehension - - I had him sit down and become a part of the e-group with me and he really started to understand and get excited. HE told AFTER the surgery that he really really felt good about it and so happy for me after being at the clinical, but being online helped him understand what I was going through - afterall I got hooked to the group, so why shouldn't I have thought he would too? Whatever - it all worked .. I am 6 days post-op now, 10 pounds lighter, and my Husband is VERY supportive and takes good care of me! : ) By the way - other postoppers: Under my boobs, kind of in the middle and a llittle below I am really really sore. Not burning sore, but like bruised kind of. I am assuming this pain is normal since I had a major surgery, but it didn't hurt until just recently. I would have thought it would have hurt all along. I feel fine (no signs of leak like fever, chills, etc) so I am hoping it is just after effects of having all of my insides bumped around, but it would greatly put my mind at ease (since the little man in the back of my braina lways has a thought to add!) if someone could verify they felt or feel the same! Dr. Rutledge - I don't want to bother you unless I think it is a problem, but if you happen to be reading this list it would ease my mind if you shed a little light on me!!! I appreciate you all! How are the rest of my littermates doing? We are strarting a full out clinic here in Florida soon! : ) Judi is there now, 3 of us just left last week, and now Beth is coming too! We need to have a support group in Florida (NORTH!) Love you all, L. mgb 7-20-00 already MINUS 10 : )
