Hi !

I experienced muscles spasms also. They lasted a few weeks and then

were gone. They can painful and they are definitely very annoying.

I was back at work (being very careful not to overexert myself)

within 2 weeks. I'm one of the lucky ones who seem to heal pretty

fast though. Everything was back to normal for me at work after

about a month.

Happy Healing!

I had surgery the first week of May, and 6 weeks later I was cutting

the grass, doing yard work and alot of other physical stuff. 12

weeks does seem long, but if your surgeon says everything is fine,

don't worry.

The eating took me awhile too, mainly because my molars weren't

meeting. After months of rubber band wear, the bite finally

closed. I would say 4 months after surgery I was eating normally,

except of course for the usual prohibited popcorn etc.

If you really feel like you should be recovering faster, maybe check

with your general physician. They usually have a better overall

view of your health. I think that is one Dr's input that gets

missed on this board. I saw my GP before and after both my

surgeries for general check ups.
