Guest guest
Can thees shots cause yeast issues? Dr. said in her post that the Bs are grown in mold. > > Anyone's child get worse from the shots? Guest guest
Did you discuss it with the Dr? My Dr. is having us try Nystatin - an antifungal along with mb12. I've only just begun - so I'm not noticing anything specific other than it makes him go #2, a good thing. Some parents say it makes their kid more hyper. I gave it once in his sleep and once in the am - I noticed no hyperactivity. R > > Anyone's child get worse from the shots? Guest guest
Is the Nystatin compounded? Regular rx Nystatin is in a base of 50% glucose/fructose. As far as the actual yeast - you'll be killing a few and feeding a few. Kinda a viscious circle. We had ours compounded with stevia and had a choice of flavors. I think we did tooty-fruity once, and bubble gum once. FYI > > > > Anyone's child get worse from the shots? Guest guest
I have Nystatin but have yet to give any to my boys. It is compounded. Would that help in case the MB12 is causing yeast? I feel they have always struggled with yeast but maybe a little more so these days and I know it is probably clouding all the good stuff I am seeing with the MB12 shots and there is a lot of good. They are starting to learn but still have some problems with attention span. Any advice regarding Nystatin would be appreciated! bscmommy <stephanee_a@...> wrote: Is the Nystatin compounded? Guest guest
We did MB12 shots for a while, and we definitley needed the Nystatin when we did. It was compounded and when we stopped, we noticed she was more agressive and argumentive. Also more biting and stimmy. We have not done the shots in a while (mostly because she HATES them and it is such a fight) and have also not done Nystatin in a couple weeks and she is OK. If we were to start the shots again, we would def. use Nystatin again. HTH Wendi > > > > > > Anyone's child get worse from the shots? Guest guest
I wonder if they treated yeast first and then did shots if she'd fight it. > > > > > > > > Anyone's child get worse from the shots? Guest guest
IF it's yeast, Nystatin should help. However, you might first have a short period of worse behavior due to yeast die-off. Also, Nystatin is the most basic prescription yeast fighter. If you have a persistent problem, there are more powerful drugs. (e.g. We are finishing up Nystatin and will be moving on to Diflucan.) There are also numerous natural yeast fighters -- Candidase and other enzymes, " good " yeast, topical oils, etc. Check out www.danasview.net or www.enzymestuff.com for other ideas. Also, avoid feeding the yeast with dairy, sugar, etc. in NJ > > > > > > Anyone's child get worse from the shots?
