Guest guest
I agree that the tummy binder can be tremendously uncomfortable but there are ways to cope with them. And I like others came to " love " mine and even when it was time to stop wearing it I still wore it for daytime hours. Tip #1 I bought some stretchy camisoles and put the binder on over it. Tip #2 Once my incision was closed I would also put generous amounts of baby powder on the camisole (hubby helped with the back.) It smelled nice and I felt as though it kept me dry. Tip #3 This is how I got into my binder with a minimal amount of rolling. But it does take 2 people (you being one of them!) I would make sure my cami was pulled down then (and it took a few times to find the perfect spot) I would hold the binder at the appropriate place, hubby would hold the other end...I would take a step or half step away to pull it tight....and twirl into it! Snug as the proverbial bug! It took us a few times to get the position right because I was fanatical about where the flap ended up. Hope these tips help!
