Guest guest
I have always wantedto ask ever since I have been coming in here, did anyone else go through Bariatric Treatment Centers of America to have theirs done? I am curious because some of my instructions are so dramatically different form what I am hearing in here. I took more than 8 weeks to get to regular foods, started with clear liquids, then full liquids, pureed (yuch!!!), etc. Anyone else do that? I have to ask because of the lady that was so new post op and eating red meat!!! I just want to know if I ate baby food for nothing!!! lol

Guest guest
I am brand new to this site...today matter of fact. I am waiting on insurance approval for my surgery. They said all that I needed to finish the process is a nutritional consult. Had that last week. They told me that for the first 3 weeks...liquid. Next 5 weeks...soft or pureed...she said babyfood was good. So it will be 8 weeks before adding regular food back. She also told me to get a baby spoon for eating, that it would help with portions.
