The majority of these " types " don't hold for longer than about 5 years (on average) so I have my " plan " for when I do get an SLD... I thought I might have had one a few months ago... got scoped, everything is fine for now *sigh* My revision will be done by (probably) Dr. Fox to a more distal RnY... if possible a switch to a vertical pouch and a transaction... I'll travel from Texas to Washington to have it done by that team of doctors because of the many good results reported back by those who have already done it that way with that team of surgeons. I'll protein load (double) as soon as I find out I qualify... I'll continue to protein load post-op for as long as it takes to feel healed on the inside. I think my surgery was a good first surgery but I don't expect it to hold so those are my plans for when it breaks. hugz, ~denise
