Guest guest
Hello again! I don't know a lot about this, nor do I know anyone with them. But, a quick google search for laminates yielded these two websites (slow day at work, hehe): http://www.animated-teeth.com/porcelain_veneers/t8_porcelain_veneers_costs.htm http://content.health.msn.com/content/article/66/79605.htm?z=4208_00000_9001_to_\ 08 Looks like porcelain is pretty stain resistant, but on the expensive side: $500-$1500 per tooth!! And they only last 5-10 years. -Jen > > > Would any one know about Laminates or options for teeth that are not > so white to begin with AND have had braces for 13yrs then another > 2 now...I really have to do something once the braces come off and > that's soon. Guest guest
Jo, the porceline veneer was what i was writing about in one of my last messages. I had my nose broken about 15 years ago and it deadened the nerve and blood supply. My front tooth yellowed and i needed to get a veneer which they said would last 7-10 years, i think mine has been on 14. No problems, it held well and has even been great having a bracket attached to it for braces. I am in need of getting it replaced. i do remember it being somewhat expensive. the tooth itself feels a little fatter than the other front tooth right next to it, but you get used to that real quickly. i am thinking of having my teeth whitened post OD, then having a new veneer put on a shade brighter than the last one due to whitening. Good luck. katie > > > Would any one know about Laminates or options for teeth that are not > so white to begin with AND have had braces for 13yrs then another > 2 now...I really have to do something once the braces come off and > that's soon.
