Hi everyone,

I had my second os appt yesterday. I had upper jaw surgery only

moved up 9mm and back 4mm. He said all is healing well. He measured

me without my rubberbands and I measured 27mm. I think I was 47mm

pre-op. So, I only have 10mm more to go. I can now take my bands off

to eat and brush. I am also able to barely squeeze my electric tooth

brush in my mouth, but it works way better than the baby tooth

brush. I also got to start soft foods today and had pasta for lunch.

It was not as bad as I thought. A little sore in the jaw joints and

I had to eat a lot slower. I hope everyone else who had surgery in

Oct is doing well. I was orginally suppose to have lower and upper

surgery, but a month before my surgery the surgeon said he only had

to do upper. I know I would not be doing as well as I am if I had

both surgeries. If anyone has any questions just let me know.
