I think that any opinion about these matters is eminently respectable, particularly when it comes from one who's been there. I do think, though, that it's an exaggeration to say that most of the people who are satisfied with the procedures are so only because they had " extreme " cases. And I think that a post like that can scare the beJeezus out of someone who's already frightened at the prospect of surgery. I would never, ever, tell anyone to have, or not to have, any surgery, for cosmetic or any other reasons. I would say that I would, or would not, do so. And I would also say that the more info the patient has, the more informed the choices made. And the more carefully and informedly made decisions have the best shot of having a happy outcome. That said, though, even with the most painstaking approach, there are some folks who come out dissatisfied, and when that happens, it's tragic.
