Guest guest
I, too, am cursed with a " hungry stomach " . My stomach does growl (not loudly) too. My husband will oftentime hear me complain that I am hungry again but I don't want to/feel like eating. My hunger returned around 3 months out. I am now 9 months out, down 125 lbs with about 60-65 left to go. I am sure I would lose slower if I didn't get hungry because I don't feel like eating most times.... but my " tool " is still working for me! Definately do as Wolfie says and eat what/when you are supposed to... I have had a few episodes of being hungry and not eating because I didn't want to/didn't have time and then caught myself with the out of control feeling when I did finally eat and then you can overstuff and that hurts! Guest guest
Do you actually have hunger pangs Wolfie? I do get a sense of emptiness. Especially when I skip a meal or I have been out and I have waited to long to eat. But not the same as before the surgery. I have been wondering if that will ever return. I hope not! I am almost 4 months post op and hunger has not yet returned. I am happy to hear you are home. How are you feeling? My stomach growls to and yes 96% of the time I would say it is gas just trying to torment me , lol. But I do get hungry at four months. I just have to watch and eat like I'm suppose to and Im fine. Guest guest
Isn't that the greatest, that it takes so little to fill us up that we could have a slice of cheese and be rarin' to go! You know I used to get mad when I would hear " skinny gals " say they had forgotten to eat and now I find myself doing that!!! How funny, i used to live my life around food and now, it is all I can do to try and be in places where I won't have to worry about food! Life is good!!!!
