Guest guest
I don't believe I've ever heard of Maida Heatter. Would I find his/her recipe on the internet? > > Now there's an idea I hadn't even thought of. Champagne and > > brownies..I might just have to try that one. Guest guest
Probly not. She's the daughter of Heatter, WW2 news broadcaster. Wonderful, wonderful cooking expert. I'll try to dig out the recipe and send it along. It's not really healthy, but some of her breads are. (one actually has bran, raisins, but no eggs, no oil, no butter, etc.) She has cookbooks called " Breads, " and " Cookies " and many others, all of which are most swell! Alas. I have no recipe for the champagne, but it was called " La Grande Dame, " and has a most excellent rep. C. > I don't believe I've ever heard of Maida Heatter.
