Guest guest
Ok, this is just getting old.. During the day, my pain is managable, Ibuprofen is enough to keep it at bay. At night, it's the same, as long as I don't lay down to sleep. I'm still sleeping on my back with about a 45 degree incline. I've found that if I lay down, even being elevated that much, my jaws start to ache worse. I only really feel good when I'm sitting up straight. The first week Post-Op was the opposite, it hurt to sit up straight. So, what gives? How long can I expect to wake up every 3-4 hours because my Ibuprofen wore off and it hurts again? Thanks! Guest guest
Jen, Hey there! I obviously can't tell you how long it will be until the pain starts to go away, but I can relate to you. My jaw is really sore toward the back about the cuts would have been made. When I lay down on my back, it feels like it is allowing my jaw to slide backward, and the pain starts. I can't lay on my sides either, because they still hurt. At night, it is definately worse than during the day. It's good to know I'm not the only one though! Guest guest
I had to take sleeping pills. My doc prescribed Ambien. I liked this pill since it did not make me feel weird. This pill can be habit forming so I took it every other day. > > Ok, this is just getting old.. > > > > During the day, my pain is managable, Ibuprofen is enough to keep it > > at bay.
