Guest guest
Hi all I'm 13 months out and 9lbs under my goal weight but still within normal BMI (barely). I'm still losing it seems and am HAVING to eat to slow it down (about a 1lb a month still losing) but it's not stopping. I could lose 4 more lbs and still be in normal BMI. I eat as much as I can; however I prefer and like the things I'm supposed to eat and was never a junk food junkie. My blood levels are perfect and I feel good but am pretty skinny and really don't want to lose more. I am working out with yoga and some resistance weights to build muscle. Any others out there have/had this concern? CAT 2/5/2002 Dr. -Alvarado 232/

Guest guest
Nooo! I haven't had this problem, I can't relate, and I envy you! Seriously, I imagine it must be hard to HAVE to eat when you don't want to. I hope it doesn't become a problem. Isn't Randy underweight too? Guest guest
At 14 months, I hit 104. It was perhaps a little too thin (if there is such a thing), but then I stabilized at the weight my body seems to like (112 or so). You're still floating around, so it's not like " today " is the weight for the rest of your life. Just don't try to " correct " it with sugars & such. Then you get MORE tied, and can shoot back UPWARD out of control. You don't wanna add fat, right? Only muscle. That'd be the exercise you are doing + protein Thanks, Vitalady, Inc. Guest guest
I'm concerned too. I am 15 months out and underweight. Can't eat enough without getting sick. I'm on a heavy duty exercise program. What do other people do who have to gain weight? > > but am pretty skinny and really don't >> want to lose more. Guest guest
I have a major problem with maintaining my weight. At 6'2 " tall, I need 2000 calories a day just to maintain my weight. It is a real struggle when you have very little appetite and can eat only about 1/2 an Arby Roast Beef sandwich at a time. At my surgeon's instruction, I reversed the Pouch Rules. I started drinking with my meals and including high caloric food. I eat 6 times a day and am still barely able to keep even. I view it as more of an annoyance than as a dangerous situation though.
