I had two treatments with a similar pulse-dye laser before my Dr.

switched to an actual " v-beam " for my third treatment, and I noticed

the same thing. The Dr. said it's a good sign because it shows that

some healthy skin is showing through. The pinker areas should blend

in with the lighter ones as the treatments progress. That's what they

told me, anyway, and it makes sense.

After my third treatment (first v-beam, though), my face seems paler

when at rest than it did before, with less of that blotchiness I had

after the first and second treatments. The overall redness has faded

considerably, but when I flare, I still flare to the same extent. She

said that's something they can address during future treatments.

Let's hope so!

Hope that helps and good luck!
