Guest guest
Hi Marcia- Glad you're doing well! I never crushed any of my meds except my vicodin (I was mistakenly given the pill form, & they're huge). If they are small enough that you can swallow them comfortably, I don't see why you'd need to crush them at all.. but each doc's postop orders are different, so if they told you to crush your pills, call your doc and ask his nurse directly. Hope you have a continued smooth recovery- Welcome to the other side!! Hugs, Liane 7 weeks postop -43 lbs!! > > > Marcia Kanter > shadow44@o... > > Hi, all, > 10 days out, all is well. Guest guest
Thanks, Liane. Makes me feel better that, if necessary at all, crushing is a temporary thing. The thing that had me most concerned was that I wanted to put the Vicodin away but couldn't find an OTC alternative. Gelcaps and caplets just don't crush! This morning, though, I located some adult dosage liquid Tylenol, so I guess I'm set 'til I'm comfortable swallowing things whole.
