Guest guest
Lorraine, is the Gentle Light powder designed to be used alone on bare skin -- similiar to Jane Iredale et al -- or in conjunction with the liquid foundation of the same name? I ask because, like you, I'm not a good user of any liquid foundation and am considering trying a powder foundation. If I recall, Superbalanced is designed for combination skin, so I'm not surprised it would have twice the likelihood of containing irritating ingredients, and half the likelihood of staying in place everywhere on the face. Soft Finish is for older skin, those with dry skin and lines, so it goes on smooth (much better than Super City Block) and stays put. But, it's not completely inert on my skin. BeneFit's Get Even -- what a great passive-aggressive name! I love it. Tell me more. I don't know, I got it as a Bonus time gift rather than a separate purchase, so I haven't asked anyone about it. I suspect it's probably meant to be used in conjunction with something else as it gives lighter coverage than something like Jane Iredale. > BeneFit's Get Even -- what a great passive-aggressive name! I love > it. Tell me more. It's fairly matte. It's quite yellowy in colour, which seems to work well at balancing out the colour on my red cheeks and nose. I put less on the paler parts of my face. Ingredients are: talc, mica, zinc stearate, ethylhexyl palmitate, lauroyl lysine, zinc oxide, hydrated silica, squalane, dimethicone, phenoxyethanol, methylparaben, propylparaben. May contain iron oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI77499) titanium dioxide. That listing is for shade #2. Lorraine
