Guest guest
Congrats on starting your journey =) My sarpe was done in my surgeon's office and the actual procedure took about 45 minutes. I only had 2 of my wisdom teeth removed so I can't really compare the pain of having them all out. After the surgery I felt better than I had anticipated, was up and about the house but tired easily. If you have someone available to help you with your baby for the first couple of days I suggest taking advantage of that. I experienced some pain and needed the pain pills the first week, which in turn made me drowsy and unable to focus. I'd also like to note that I had IV sedation and not general anesthesia. If you're having general you will feel a lot more run down than if you had IV sedation. > hi there - i am scheduled to have my expansion surgery on 11th > october. its only the first leg of my orthognathic journey, and i'm > already nervous!!! can anyone tell me approximately how long the > surgery takes? and how you feel afterwards? say, in comparison to > having all 4 wisdom teeth removed at the same time? i'm asking > because i have an infant to take care of (she'll be 2 months three > days after my surgery!!!). any input on what it was like would be > appreciated! > > many thanks! > susanna
