I got this email today. Someone is probably going to flame me for sending

this to the lists, but I think it's important enuf to risk being flamed. Hope

some or most will pass this on. I think it's worth a try.

Well, I checked it out, and the site does tell you why they THINK it wouldn't

work. But how can they really konw if they haven't tried it? What is an urban

legend anyway? I hear the term used a lot, but don't really know what it

means. Is it in the same category as a hoax? If a story got started in farm

country, would it then be a rural legend? Of if in the boonies, a suburban

legend? How do the peeps at these websites determine if a legend is untrue or

if something is a hoax? Not questioning your motives at all, just curious and

a bit confused. Posted this to the list bcuz I think all should know how

easily we can be duped.
