my surgeon had no problem with me taking arnica...

by the way, arnica also comes in a gel, which can be applied

directly to the surface ( external use only!)

also, arnica didn't help me at all..

the homeopath said it doesn't work on all people ....

I took homeopathic remedies but under the guidance of a registered

homeopath. I asked my surgeon about it, he was indifferent, said he'd

had patients that had taken them with no ill effects.

You don't swallow homeopathic remedies, if they are little pills, you

place them under your tongue and let them dissolve. If they are

liquid, you also hold them in your mouth (usually under the tongue)

for a short period before swallowing. They are most easily absorbed

through the mucous membrances. I have experience with both, no

experience with arnica gel.

Herbals are a different matter, completely different from homeopathic

remedies.

My suggestion is to consult a homeopath if you do decide to use these

type of remedies. They can tell you what, when and how much to take,

and most importantly, when to stop taking it.
