I had a drainage tune and bag for the first 2 weeks and I had to drain it

every night and it was a gross smell, made me sick. They said it was all normal

and when the tub came out your body would naturally absorb what is left over.

They did not say it came from the old stomach though, I thought it was just

from the incision, so I am not sure where it was now. it felt gross taking it

out

but it did not relly hurt, was too quick. I had my staples out at 2 weeks

too, when they took the drainage tubes out. I used neosporin on my incision

until

it finished healing up. Good luck withe everything and I am glad you feel so

good. Once all that weight melts away you will feel even better :)

congrats on embarking on your post-op life. no drain here, maybe

other members will have some answers. the plastic surg group spends

lots of time (ad nauseam) talking about their drains.

healthy wishes for 2004!
