Guest guest
Well, I tend to get a LITTLE protective of US kind, and the misconceptions people have about us. Scuse me if I offended anyone, BTW. Thanks, Vitalady, Inc. Guest guest
THOSE OF you who heard this person say things that are offensive ought to kindly take him aside and tell him so. Any speaker worth their salt wants to get across info without offending unecessarily. If several people say something, assuming he is not on some ego-dragon- the person will likely listen and change the metaphor to something useful and not offensive. just ceep's two cent's worth In a message dated 2/15/03 1:58:09 AM, Graduate-OSSG writes: << He would never say such things on line, where he has a pretty loyal following, but he had no problem saying it to us in person when we were all in San Diego. Guest guest
Me too! :oD As to whether you offended anyone, I couldn't say, but I sure hope not. It did ME good to hear what you said--but you can't please all the people all the time, I guess. *grin* Sharon > Well, I tend to get a LITTLE protective of US kind, and the > misconceptions people have about us. > > Scuse me if I offended anyone, BTW. The particular support group he came to was in the house of a friend of mine who had the same surgical group (Pacific Bariatrics) that I had. She welcomed people of all different WLS types, but he was just plain offensive to us, and he finally stopped coming because we all made it clear that we were happy with what we had, and tired of hearing about his adventures with the blender. (no food is off-limits if you can blend it to a juice -- eeeeuuuuwwww). ~~ Lyn
