just got back from OS and had bands removed WOO HOO!!!!!

Hi, well, I just got back from the OS and now instead of 20+ rubber

bands in my mouth I have three. Two guide wires on either side and

one across my front teeth for two days and then on Saturday he will

remove these.

Without the guidewires I can open my mouth about 1 cm but it feels

like I am opening my mouth about 3-4 inches!!!!

Anyway, first thing I did was brush my teeth and now I am heading off

to the cafeteria at my work to get something ... actually anything

that isn't pureed!

I AM SO HAPPY!!!!

Helen, I know the feeling. GREAT, isn't it? I still have bands on

both sides, never had them in the front, i think i have about 13 all

together. They are trying to bring my bite together which is still

off, 9 weeks post! Congrats. Now slowly work on the exercises to

increase opening under the advice of your dr. That is exciting to

see the advances also.
