Guest guest
Hey Debbie, Don't get overly hung-up with BMI indicators. So much depends on your body composition and muscle mass. Let your clothes be the indicator. I am in a size 8, but weight 150 lbs and my BMI still shows me as slightly overweight. What the BMI doesn't indicate is that I am only 17% body fat and have been doing weight training for over a year. Muscle weights more then fat. I am at goal at 150 lbs and a thin 8 (you can check out my picture in our Photo section if you want.) Hugs and congrats on movin on down the line Carol G > When I had my surgery almost 14 months ago, I had a BMI of 51.1. I have lost about 145 lbs and still haven't gotten out of the Super Duper Morbidly Obese. I would be overjoyed to be just Obese. Lori Owen - Denton, Texas CHF 4/14/01 479 lbs. SRVG 7/16/01 401 lbs.
