Guest guest
I've basically been burning candles at both ends and sides for the past few weeks, but have kept up with my protein, meds and hydration. I'm not getting as much sleep as I should, but am trying. I keep telling Tim I'm tired and for the last month my right hip/thigh has been stiff and sore. Hurts when I bend my leg to cross it or to put my shoes or socks on. The other day it felt like the leg was going to give out. I've been sleeping on the couch since my revision on my tt scar last week as I can't sleep on my side with all those stitches. I haven't taken any pain killers or anything out of the ordinary. I went to sleep last night and apparently woke up around 7:30 this morning, made breakfast for Tim and the kids, chili omelet for Tim, scrambled eggs and hash browns and toast for the kids and I even had a few bites of Tim's omelet. I also apparently cleaned up after breakfast and then layed back down on the couch. I don't remember doing any of this. Tim woke me up to what I thought was a little while later and it was 1:15 in the afternoon asking me if I was alright. Said that our neighbor came over at 11:15, ringing the doorbell, knocking on the door etc. because we were supposed to watch her son today and I didn't even flinch. He said he came upstairs because the dog wouldn't stop barking and he saw me sleeping on the couch. He told and to go downstairs and to let me sleep and left me for another 2 hours. He said he was two minutes short of calling an ambulance. He couldn't wake me up at all, no movement, no nothing. Told him I was fine except for feeling a bit " foggy " , but otherwise was ok. Took a good hour for the " fog " to lift and I've been ok since then. Even took Leah to a birthday party that she will be spending the night at. is going to spend the night with my brother, once goes home. Then I can rest by myself. This is the second time something like this has happened. The first time was in December right before Christmas when Tim was away. Also, last night I was a bit wobbly a few times on my feet where I felt like I may collapse. My question is has anyone had anything similar happen to them? I'm going to call my neurologist on Monday to see if there should be any concern. Maybe it's just signs of exhaustion. I was completely exhausted and run down when it happened the last time too. Sorry for the length of the note, just wanted you to get a clear picture of what's going on. Otherwise, I feel fine most of the time. Thanks.
