Guest guest
I know how your feeling! I also had my surgery on the 18th. Now just like you I am trying to swallow, though it is a bit hard, and icing non-stop. I had upper and lower to sort out an asymmetry and cross bite. My nose seems to get clogged also, but I'm hoping with decreased swelling it will ease up. Mostly I am using decongestants and humidifyer and steam. Good luck to you! > > I'm two days post-op (in on Nov 18) - head's like a soccer ball that's been > through a game or twelve - but I think I'll live. > Swallowing is tough - totally different from before, always seems like stuff's > gonna go down the wrong way (mostly, it doesn't). > > Wonder how is doing... Guest guest
Hey - nice to hear from you. Didn't know I had a " buddy " on the 18th. Swallowing is better now. (It wasn't that I was having problems getting liquids into my mouth - they just weren't/aren't going down quite like I remember.) Upper and lower - I feel for ya. Chin up (so to speak) - breathing is getting easier. Nose is less congested. Swelling is still abysmal - no improvement. > > I know how your feeling! I also had my surgery on the 18th.
