Reading Martha's message, it occurred to me to ask whether anybody has

successfully been able to control blushing. It is supposed to be a

spontaneous, involuntary reaction but maybe there is a way. Does anybody

have any ideas?

All the better, then you get to tell them that booze on top of rosacea

leads to projectile vomiting. That should be a quick ticket to getting

elected designated driver, no problem. <g>

All true.

A very good point. I don't plan to let rosacea become the final

determinant for how I live my life, either. I just figure that since

I've always gotten seriously flushed from even one beer and I've never

really liked drinking (maybe correlated), I might as well turn the

disadvantage of having rosacea into the advantage of having a reason

for not drinking that other people can understand.

And to you from the nation's capital, where the weather has *everyone*

flushed.

I don't really know how bad I flush when I drink but I do

know that the next day or three I am a tomato.

Don't chuck your blush too quickly. I did the same thing years ago, and now

I have managed to control my rosacea to the point that my entire face looks

pale (except of course my nose). I started wearing blush again 6 months ago

because I kept looking in the mirrors I would pass and thinking I looked

like a ghost. There is a light at the end of the tunnel!
