Help! Newly diagnosed

Hi everybody. Please help! I was diagnosed with rosacea a few weeks

ago. I realize now that I've had it for a very long time, but i just

thought i had bad skin. In January, my face literally erupted with

red, blotch, huge bumps. My skin felt and looked like it was

burned. In addition I had scaly, flaky skin all over my cheeks and

forehead. I used Metrocream, and that helped alot. I also changed

cleansers.

Now, I'm getting these large bumps on my face that resemble bug

bites - clear, seems to be filled with fluid, with red edges. They

go away in about an hour. Does anyone else get these? I don't know

if they are a symptom or rosacea, or if I'm having another problem.

I would like to find a derm who is more knowledgeable about rosacea.

Does anyone have any suggestions for the New York city area?

Any words would be greatly appreciated.
