Guest guest
Why not spead them out over the course of the entire year, 50% OT, 50% ST and take the restr on yourself by looking at what Janice and Kim with 4 cuties have in the therapy folder and ask for suggestions for specific issues as they arise here? I know it is a lot to take on but slow and steady and consistency throughout the year will make a bigger dent in his issues most likely. It can be done whether you are working or not. You can do this! > > Would you go for ST alone and get ST from Jan - July or would you take > OT because the palce you go to finally got an OT again and go from Jan - > mid-April? > > We cannot afford $180/hour so when our 60 visits are up we can't go for > the rest of the year. > > I'm inclined to just get ST but I wonder if my son would sleep and eat > if he had OT? >
Guest guest
I had the same situation last year -- schedule weekly with both at first -- you'll get a feel for which is more valuable. In our case the OT was lightyears ahead of the ST -- so I scheduled the ST once a month and the OT weekly -- which by the time you put in vacations and holidays came out to 60 visits. My son is more sensory involved so the decision was easy. > > > > Would you go for ST alone and get ST from Jan - July or would you > take > > OT because the palce you go to finally got an OT again and go from > Jan - > > mid-April? > > > > We cannot afford $180/hour so when our 60 visits are up we can't go > for > > the rest of the year. > > > > I'm inclined to just get ST but I wonder if my son would sleep and > eat > > if he had OT? > > >
