Title: Diet Soda

In addition to what L. wrote, never drink regular soda, only diet soda

but also be aware of the sodium content of diet soda which can attribute to

water retention. I had a friend who would always have diet soda after a workout

and complained about not losing weight. It was suggested she cut out the diet

soda and she started to see changes. Good Luck!

found this while looking for phophate info ... " salt " ... never thought of

that

I read that too... great info. Soda turns your bones into powder. Ok ok,

that was an over exaggeration .... but you know what I mean. BAD BAD BAD ...

soda is BAD for you. Enough said.

Lori, wonderful!!!! Mandy, look at this site, and go down to Osteoporosis

and Nutrition. This confirms what the doc told me yesterday about sodas

interfering with calcium. There is also a note about Calcium supplements.

The doctor gave me the same info yesterday about which calcium to take. She

said as soon as I started taking regular Calcium instead of the chewable

kind, to only get Calcium Citrate, as it was absorbed better. Lori, thanks

so much for looking this up for me.
