Guest guest
I know biting into an apple and catching snowflakes with your tongue (sticking way out) may seem a bit trivial, but those are some of the little things I enjoyed pre-op, albeit with a Class III! Now I can't wait to do those things with my new jaw! Love, Bea

Guest guest
Not minimizing biting into an apple at all (although I hope that here in lower Alabama I hope not to have to deal with snowflakes any time soon, in any form or fashion!) -- just saying that it's something I gave up for the duration of orthodontia. (Another one: POPCORN!) Some folks are way braver than I, and say they can eat everything while in braces. I was too much dismayed by the prospect of fracturing some of the equipment and then having to fess up. And yes, you'll get back to where you were before, I'll bet! Guest guest
Thank you for your words of encouragement! I almost forgot about the popcorn! I'll think of you when I can catch snowflakes with my tongue here in Wisconsin! > > > > I know biting into an apple and catching snowflakes with your > tongue > > (sticking way out) may seem a bit trivial, but those are some of > the > > little things I enjoyed pre-op, albeit with a Class III! > > Now I can't wait to do those things with my new jaw! > > > > Love, > > > > Bea
