Re: Total Joint Replacement

I do not blame you a bit for taking your time figuring out whether

you want/need a joint replacement. It sounds like a big undertaking

to me, too.

But if that's your only option, then that's your only option. I do

believe I would want more than one opinion on it, though. (In

fairness, I would be just as leery of a knee replacement, although I

have known quite a few people who have undergone that procedure and

come out, post recovery, greatly relieved of their pain, with

considerably more freedom of movement and ability to do things they

hadn't done in years.)

If it is any comfort to you, several people have posted about Dr.

Wolford, and his fine reputation precedes him. I did not have him,

and live far from Dallas, but I can only recall having heard good

things about him and his results from others.

If you want to go through the tedium of an archive search on his

name (see the messages preceding this one) you might be able to find

these posts and read them yourself.

a good bit of information including treatments like what you are
