Guest guest Posted November 5, 2002 Report Share Posted November 5, 2002 Hi Beth! Yes Al has the same problem with extremely cold hands and cold feet - at times it affects his whole body. One minute he's boiling hot the next he's freezing cold even on the hottest of days. It's due to his very low blood pressure which isn't helped with his present PD medication. He's taking Florinef to help with his BP - however at times his whole body is freezing (as he says). Watch out for blackouts causing very heavy falls. Talk to your neuro for further help - if he says he's cold believe him. Al goes from being extremely hot to extremely cold - hence we have summer clothes and winter clothes on hand just about everywhere in the house for him. It's more noticeable in his down time which makes it difficult for me to keep him quiet as he wants to continue walking around to try and warm up.
