Gap between my front teeth...

When my OS performed my surgery...he had to cut the top wire on my

braces between my two front teeth. I think it had something to do

with him narrowing my upper jaw. I didn't even think to ask him why

it had to be cut. Well he told me that I'd have a gap there because

of it...and there is definitely a gap there. He said not to worry

about it and that when I go back to my orthodontist next

week...they'll put a new wire on...and it will get closed up. So I'm

just curious...is this something that will close up like in a matter

of days after I get the new wire on...or will it take awhile. It's

not like a huge deal compared to everything else I've gone

through...but I was just curious.

Thanks!

Hey there Tom! I didn't have the same thing from my surgery, but

when I started my braces I had a HUGE gap between my top two front

teeth and I was utterly amazed by how quickly it closed. The

powerchains closed it up in a matter of weeks. It was kinda funny

actually because when I started out I thought this was the major

problem with my teeth, I was completely wrong on that though. Don't

worry about it though, I'm sure the ortho can close it up in no time

at all.
