Guest guest Posted March 5, 2003 Report Share Posted March 5, 2003 Those of you who struggle with hunger all the time (like me) will just fall off your chairs laughing over the following quote from another list I am on: " I have a hard time " feeling " hungry two years out. I talked to the folks in the program about it and they say it is another way things can happen so not to worry. The hormones that tell the brain to eat are no longer produced after WLS. So mostly what we teach ourselves is to eat on a schedule again psychologically not physically. If I do not eat by the clock then I can get off center pretty fast and pass out if I miss too many meals. " EXCUSE ME? The hormones that cause hunger are no longer produced?
