Guest guest
I was wondering if anyone used MSM for their skin? I took it about a year ago..when I did not know (was not diagnosed) with cea. I had clear skin, no pain in my body..and beautiful hair and nails. I cannot remember why I stopped taking it. I have read a multitude of info on how this stuff helps clear pustules/papules, as well as severe " stage four acne. " I did also read that it does heat up your intestines. Would that be bad for cea? Has anyone had any experience with taking it to clear thir skin? Thank you for any answers in advance. ;-) Sincerely, Annette

Guest guest
Hi Annette I've been taking MSM in the form of pure powder for about 3 months but taking it for overall health not really for skin. My skin is better but that could be from other things. My hair and fingernails are growing so fast I can't keep up! My understanding is that MSM softens the " skin " of the cells allowing water and nutrients to flow better, or something like that. Guest guest
I use an MSM lotion, but do not take MSM as a nutritional supplement. It allows me to take a break from the cea Discs, and actually my skin get more pale when I stop using the discs for a couple of days and only use the MSM lotion. I haven't tried using the lotion ONLY for more than 3 days for fear of getting a papule/postule outbreak. - Methylsulphonylmethane/MSM I was wondering if anyone used MSM for their skin? Guest guest
I take MSM supplements daily. I'm curious how much people who are taking it take. (does that make sense?) How many milligrams are you taking? Here's what I've heard: I've heard that at maintenance levels, you should take 500-1000 milligrams. For mildy unhealthy conditions: it is suggested that you take a minimum of 500 milligrams per 60 pounds of body weight, twice a day. For example, if you weigh 150lbs, you would want to take at least 1500mg twice a day. Once in the morning and once again in the evening. For severely unhealhty conditions: For those with serious health conditions and concerns, it is suggested that you a minimum of 1000mg per 60 pounds of body weight. For example, if you weigh 150lbs, you would want to take at least 2500mg twice a day. Once in the morning and once again in the evening. What say all of you?
