Re: Back from hospital!!

How's that for timing! We posted at the same time. :)

I'm sorry to hear it didn't go quite as planned! My throat was

killing me yesterday, but after 3 cups of chicken broth throughout the

day and night it's all gone now. I think the salt in the broth helped

a lot. I'm pretty sure I cried most of the day yesterday, too. I

couldn't believe how bad it hurt!

I won't have my x-rays done until my post-op appointment on Friday.

As far as I know, I was moved 9mm forward and I only have 3 titanium

screws on each side holding it in place. I have 4 loose rubber bands,

no splint, and I can open my mouth about 4-5mm with them on. I'll get

looser ones next week he says.

I'll be hanging out on the boards on and off tonight. I still have

people coming and going that I have to entertain, or, at the very

least not ignore by hiding in my bedroom on the computer. :)
