liquid diet question

Hey guys,

I'm 1 week 1 day post op, and things are going great. Im pretty lucky

in that i was neither wired nor did I need a splint, just bands. I

had an appointment with Doc today, and he said that bands can come

off next week! Anyway, I have a question about the the liquid diet.

So far, Ive actually gained weight since going off clear liquids to

all liquids, but Im starting to run into problems with taste. I've

tried different soups - Tomato Soup, Thai Coconut Soup (Which I

highly recommend!) etc. etc., but now I jsut cant take the same ones

over and over - that goes for shakes too. So I was wondering where

could I get some ideas of recipes. I would buy a that liquid diet

cookbook, but I'll have so little time left on liquids when I get it.

Any recommendations? I cant eat anything that thick at all, so it has

to be with soup/ thin milkshake consistency. I think I'm gonna puke

if I have another smoothie king shake. Thanks!
