WOW.. that stuff knocked me on my & %% Heck, I fell asleep sitting up. I'm sorry to hear you're having such problems with sleep,, that really sucks However, take heart - I've read that the body WILL make you sleep at some point, it's unavoidable. It's just miserable until you actually reach that point :/ BIG disclaimer here so I won't get totally flamed,,, but if the Ambien alone isn't doing the trick - try a 1/2 glass of red wine with it

Guest guest
Oh, dear friend... You need not worry about that... You could be in a spot where you could only shoot your food into a feeding tube implanted in your tummy! You'll do fine. Just keep pumping it in, and wipe your face, after... As long as you drip only in the good places, you'll be fine. Honest. Sorry you're having sleepy troubles. But I hope the meds will help. Guest guest
Tom, I'm sure you're trying to be neat and considerate... Just look at how the other folks around you eat. (Or maybe, no, that's not a good suggestion. Don't.) I'll bet there are lots who have fewer -- shall we say challenges? -- than you do, and don't do as tidy a job. Not to worry. You do what works, be considerate, and figure folks need to make allowances, or so I think. Wouldn't you do that for someone with some problems? I would. So if you have some problems, just go at it the best you can and don't worry about the rest! Glad you had some relief from the splint pain... Have you tried benedryl for sleep? For some folks (including me) it works really well. There's another one: Klonapin, old, safe, cheap muscle relaxant that was a blessing from the Gods for me -- it's prescription, though.
