Guest guest
Yes, gyms have personal trainers. The salesperson will advise you at the time you inquire about membership. For the most part, depending on the time of day and the DAY, no one is really there to scrutinize you, yur form or technique. Most p[eople are busy concentrating on themselves, ther own form and technique, and counting reps and sets, seconds going up, seconds comnig down. At my gym there is socializing, but not while someone is working out. between sets, only. I am the youngser of the older ladies inthe morning..I am 58. Ladies is a loose term, here. lol I am amazed at how physically strong I am...295# leg press, 90# leg extension, 60# on the lat pull...woould be more, but hve had rotator cuff surgery on both, and fell forward 6 weeks after the left one...now not so good, little strength. BUT, I feel good, get the metabolism up, endorphins running, and feel empowered. I also do a long stretch out at the end, after walking the track a few times. I am glad I am doing it, and am ABLE to do it, which I was NOT for about 10 years. Corrine
