Hi all,

I missed the last couple of weeks because I WAS ON VACATION!!! It's

amazing how losing weight opens up a whole new universe of

experiences.

I wanted to do a health spa to celebrate my weight loss and get me

motivated for the last 40 pounds I need to drop before PS. But it

was just too expensive.

Instead I went on a cruise with my mom to the Carribean. I went on

Royal Carribean and did their ship shape program, plus I ate (mostly)

from their ship shape menu. It was a blast. I earned the ship shape

dollars and " bought " two t-shirts.

I was a little worried about the Key West stop because we got in at

3p.m. and left at 1 a.m., which means it was basically a bar and

restaurant stop. But I took the trolley tour and then walked for

hours. I did buy a bag of Sunchips, but when I got half way down the

bag, I promised I would throw it away at the next trash can. Then,

since I still don't trust myself, I smashed the bag into crumbs

while I walked the last couple of blocks to a bin.

I still have to play tricks on myself!!!

In Belize I got to do a jungle hike to a river and tube float down

the river through awesome caves. In Cozumel I got to snorkel at

three different coves. Face down with the fishys. I had been

dreaming of that for so long, especially when my kids had those all

too often days of non-stop bickering.

I could have never done any of this when I was even fatter!

The great part about it is it cost me only $348 (which INCLUDED the

$140 port charges) plus $12 tax. I had a zero bar tab and zero

gambling tab, so I was able to do this awesome trip for a song.

And my husband stayed home and watched the kids. Time for ME (not

wifey or mommy) at last!

It really is wonderful to learn to treat myself well.

Smiles,

Vicki A.

Woohooo!! Congratulations, Vicki. I did the same thing on my

cruise and came home 1.5 lbs thinner. RC's Ship Shape menu was

delicious and their spa was fabulous!

Didn't it feel good to know you had it in you all the time and that

this desire and mindset can always be accessed. It's there,

Vicki...it always has been. We can either be our own very best

friend or our worst enemy.

I'm proud of you, girlfriend :)) Look in the mirror and meet your

very best friend on earth...she wuvs you ;)

hugs,

Carol G.
