Perioguard mouthwash staining teeth?

Hi all,

I'm scheduled for a gum graft in about a week or so. My periodontist

has told me that I will have to use Perioguard mouthwash for a few

weeks after the procedure. I seem to remember that some people here

had to use a similar mouthwash after orthognathic surgery and they

complained of it staining their teeth. So how bad was the staining? Is

it something to worry about? They have told me that a dental cleaning

will easily remove any stains. Is that true or not? I also have

porcelain veneers on a few of my teeth, so I'm worried about those

getting damaged. I'd really appreciate some info from anyone who has

experience with this.

Thanks,
